                  Hezbollah terror attack warning issued

JERUSALEM (JTA) - There is a "concrete, high-level threat" of a Hezbollah terror attack, Israel's Counter Terrorism Bureau warned.
The warning issued Sunday specifically mentions terror attacks, assassinations and the abduction of Israeli citizens by Hezbollah in Israel and abroad. Similar warnings have been issued.
The attack is planned as revenge for the one-year anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah's chief military officer, Imad Mughniyeh. Israel has never claimed responsibility for his death.
Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah alluded to the possibility of a revenge attack in a speech from his hiding place in Damascus on Jan. 29, saying "Israelis are living in fear of our revenge."
Israel's Channel 2 quoted security officials last week as saying a large-scale Hezbollah terror attack against an Israeli target in Europe was prevented.
The bureau warned Israelis traveling in other countries to take precautions for their security, including remaining alert, avoiding unexpected meetings or tempting offers, and to vary their routines.
It also called on Israelis to leave the Sinai, where there is a "concrete, immediate and grave" threat of being kidnapped, then smuggled into and held in Gaza.
