Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel is prepared to offer aid to victims of the violence in Syria as soon as it is asked.
According to a press release from Lieberman's office, the foreign minister said that Israel would offer "all humanitarian aid at any minute it is requested," The Associated Press reported.
Liberman's comments were made Friday during an official visit to Bulgaria.
Israel and Syria have fought several wars and do not have formal diplomatic relations.
