                  Beltsy Hesed Yakov Holds Conference on Holocaust

                  Within the framework of Yevreyskiye Sudby Tolerance Museum (Russian: Jewish fates), Beltsy Hesed Yakov has held a conference on the Holocaust. For two years, Yevreyskiye Sudby Tolerance Museum is successfully open in Beltsy
                  Hesed Yakov Jewish Centre. The conference united two crucial issues within the framework of its most important events. These issues are Shoah and the contribution of the generation that survived it into the creation of the State of Israel.
                  Representatives of most ethnic organizations of the town, town council delegates, history teachers, senior pupils, Hesed's wards, members of Chaverim youth club, the press and TV gathered in the assembly hall.
                  The fate of the European Jews, Israel's future, interethnic relations are the problems that became the focus of interest of participants and affected everybody.
                  Alla Bolbochanu, the head of social and cultural programs of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee's office in Moldova, greeted the conference and introduced a special guest, representative of Jerusalem Joint Dr. Aaron Vice. He pointed to several facts of his life reflecting the chronology of fates of many Jews who had been originators of a new state's creation.
                  Lev Bondar, the President of the Association of Town's Jewish Organizations, showed his satisfaction concerning the holding of the conference and noted that the community's youth took an active part in the Museum's life, and above all, worked in programs connected to the history of the Holocaust.
                  Liudmila Chergutsa, an officer of the Department of interethnic relations of the town council, addressed the meeting.
                  In conclusion, a presentation of books devoted to the outbreak at the Warsaw ghetto as a symbol of resistance and heroism took place.
