Russia to Present Abu Mazen Administration With 50 Armored Carriers

Russia will supply 50 armored carriers to the Palestinian National Authority during the third quarter, as reported on Tuesday by the "Interfax-AVN" agency with reference to the senior official of the Russian General Staff.
"The delivery of armored personnel carriers has been coordinated with all interested countries and will be carried by sea in the period from July to September," quotes IMRA agency the article of Interfax information agency.
According to the source, all 50 armored personnel carriers from the Defense Ministry of Russia are ready for shipment, their weapons have been removed.
Russia sends the armored carriers to Palestine for free, as a gift.
It is expected that Russian armored vehicles will equip the power structures of the Palestinian National Authority, specifies the "ForUm."
In late May, the Israeli Ambassador in Moscow, Anna Azari told Interfax that Israel had agreed to the supply of the armored carriers to the Palestinian Autonomy.
