Anti-Semitic Graffiti in the Crimea
09.06.2009
Crimean anti-Semites desecrated the Jewish Charity Center "Hesed" in Feodosiya with Nazi swastikas and graffiti with inscriptions offensive to Jews.
According to the JTA news agency, the vandalic attack occurred in late May, but information about the anti-Semitic incident is being published only now.
Local Jewish leaders note that the law enforcement agencies investigated earlier anti-Semitic attacks without proper zeal, and the regional authorities treat those who spread anti-Jewish sentiments rather forbearingly.
The representatives of local administration said they would take the search for the "anti-Semitic artists" under control.
