The court in France has omitted the accusation on positive estimation of nazis' war crimes from the former president of Yahoo.
The court has decided that Timothy Kugl and Yahoo website did not justify or praise nazism though the Internet-portal, though the site allocated space for the auction of nazi relics. Kugl, who left his post in Yahoo in 2001, was menaced by five years of imprisonment and 50 thousand dollars of penalty.
The court on the claim submitted by the French Jewish and antiracist groups took place in October 2001. The French legislation forbids exhibition and sale of subjects having racist symbolic, however Internet users in France can get such subjects on the main website registered in the USA.
