Jewish agency's envoys will visit communities all around the world.

                  25.02.2003

The 'Sokhnut" Jewish agency has decided to send envoys to Bombay and Delhi to introduce the Jews living in India to Jewish history and Judaism.
In 2003, more than 300 Jewish agency's envoys are to come to eighty Jewish communities all around the world to conduct workshops and classes on Jewish self-consciousness and education. More than 50,000 young people from Jewish Diasporas are expected to participate in the workshops.
"We will work anywhere where there are Israelis. Our objective is to strengthen the Jewish self-consciousness of young people, no matter where they live", announced the Jewish agency's head of the education commission Amos Hermon quoted by the Cursor information agency.
