The President of the Union Yuriy Dorn has said in an interview to the "Blagovest-info" agency that the coin of 39mm in diameter is meant to be made out of the silver 925 in the circulation quantity of 5,000 pieces. Mr. Dorn thinks the commemorating issue will "contribute to developing tourism and pilgrimage to Belarus, as well as to popularizing Jewish cultural values".
